Service & Projects Staff:

Director of Projects- James Constantine

Responsible for Projects planning, scheduling, budgets, and resource allocation. The main point of contact for Project customers and job site contractor coordination. Oversees and provides direction for the daily operations of the Projects teams.

With nearly four decades of experience, Jim has successfully directed projects in North America, Asia and the UK for Pharmaceutical, Biorepository, Battery, Semiconductor, Military and Archival Storage market sections. He has a wide range of expertise in the Direction of Project Management, Estimating, Field Installations, plus development and implementation of Safety Programs. Additionally, he has Plant Management experience with responsibilities that included the manufacture of Desiccant Dehumidification Systems, Specialty Refrigeration, Mechanical, Electrical and Control Systems, Test/Cycling Chambers, and Insulated Panel systems for worldwide distribution.

Safety Director and Project Supervisor- David Sanders

Coordinates the scheduling and delivery of materials and equipment for Capital Expense Projects and acts as a liaison between the Project Manager and Field Supervisor, monitoring job progress and quality standards. Provides field expertise and technical support for the Service and Projects Teams.

David has over 30 years of service and installation experience with rack systems, chillers, stability chambers & cascade systems for the Commercial, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Crop Science industries. He also serves as the company Safety Manager, selecting safety gear and providing regular technician training plus interviews and evaluates all potential new employees.

Service Manager – David Tickle

Leads the operations of service and maintenance, ensuring superior customer care, efficient system performance, and minimal downtime for critical HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems. He oversees preventative maintenance programs, coordinating service schedules, optimizing repair response times, and fostering customer relationships. With a focus on safety, compliance, and high standards of customer service and service delivery, our Service Manager empowers technicians with the tools and support they need to exceed client expectations and deliver top-tier service in regulated and commercial environments.

A 12-year military veteran, David also has over a decade of experience as a service technician and as an installation superintendent for single point and rack refrigeration systems, HVAC systems and humidity control systems for both room and building applications giving him key insight on the successful planning and scheduling of work for refrigeration projects and service.

Chris Hatter, Electrical Technician & Installation Supervisor

Chris joined Element Mechanical in 2021 as an Electrical Technician and has since transitioned into an Installation Supervisor role. In addition to having a Texas Journeyman Electrician License, he has over 22 years of electrical experience, as well as experience with automation/process controls, fabrication, integration, schematics, and mechanical industries. Chris’s supervisory experience also plays a key part into his current job responsibilities of being an Installation Supervisor: overseeing the maintenance, calibration, and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment. He has certifications in EPA 608 Universal Refrigerants, Allen Bradley Control Logix 5000 Troubleshooting, Rockwell Automation Factory Talk Site Edition Configuration and Troubleshooting, Fire Safety, OSHA 10-Hour Safety, Construction Sites, Scissor Lift, Forklift, Aerial Lift, CPR, AED & First Aid.

Planning & Engineering Staff:

Director of Engineering – Paul Bommer

Develops and implements the company’s Engineering and Estimating standards. Responsible for mechanical and electrical engineering, specification review and field activity planning for quoted Service and Capital Expense Projects, plus develops in-house industry training for the technicians.  

Paul’s experience for almost 30 years has been with the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Crop Science and Aerospace industries centered around the mechanical and electrical engineering of medium, low, and ultra-low temperature storage systems as an Engineer, Estimator, and a Project Manager. With his prior experience as a Hull and Mechanical Planner for nuclear and non-nuclear naval systems, Paul has established a high standard of expectation for the quality and system controls utilized by the Commercial group.
